about u turn

U Turn was founded in 2015 by Vincent Deinum as a coaching and training agency in Amsterdam. Since then he has delivered many individual coaching programs and workshops, and collaborated in larger projects working for several international NGO's. Since 2016, a partnership was formed with Esther Akpomukai, who founded Light Up Your Talent and has been a partner in crime in coaching, talent and leadership development.

At the same time Vincent Deinum has worked for 12 years in various roles at the firm BeLife. He has lead multiple projects and programmes in talent development, well being & resilience programmes, leadership development and cultural change programs. In 2015 he started working as an independent with full focus on U Turn since 2019. His latest work has been in education at the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam, Muiswerk Educatief and ActionAid and Friends of the Earth Netherlands (Milieudefensie).

Through U Turn, Vincent Deinum collaborates with Esther Akpomukai and many other professionals with the aim to create a different society in which regeneration for all is possible. One of the new initiatives are the back-to-basic expeditions on the beautiful island of Sardinia, to help facilitate deep and rooted change for individuals and teams.

I want to enable people to regenerate themselves. To connect to the essence of who you are and be in balance with your surrounding. I feel a mission to help create regenerative (working) environments for people to be able to live, love and learn.
